• Page 41, line 12: (2,3) should be (3,2).

• Page 40, line 17: In the middle two terms of this equation, squareroot(n+1) should be replaced with squareroot(n) + 1.
• Page 105, line 20: Two versions of this problem got mangled together. The second derivative should be
  r''(t) = <-30 sin t, -30 cos t, 0>
  and on the next line
  |r''(t)| = 30 .
• Page 258, line 26: The assertion that cutting through the center of mass of an object with a plane always gives two pieces of equal mass is incorrect. For a counterexample, think of a vertical plane cutting through the balancing point of a seesaw that has a ballerina on one side and a sumo wrestler on the other. They balance because the wrestler sits much closer to the center of the seesaw. But much more than half of the total mass is on the wrestler's side.It is rather the moments of the masses on each side of the plane that are equal.
